Went there on Mothers Day with my mother in law. We arrived 5 minutes before our booking time at 1pm. All fine so far. Wine and starters and main meals were ordered. Soup was okay, pate thinly sliced. Mackerel was nice. Finished at about 1.15pm. 2.10pm still waiting for our main courses to arrive. Other people were still waiting for coffee, and desserts. Whilst other tables which had arrived after us were getting served their main meals. A word with the waiter about our mains, 10 minutes later still nothing. But staff too bothered about fixing tables together and setting new tables for future customers, not the customers waiting over 55 minutes for food. Mother in law got fed up and left, along with us. On website states maitre de was on QE2 more like the Titanic. Terrible service, and a sorry end to mothers day, with her family travelling from Kent. Would not and could not recomend to anyone, more concerned in packing customers in, than any actual customer care.
