We got married at Maidens Barn 5 years ago, 15th October 2005. I found the website after lots of searching around and when we went along to see the venue we fell in love with it. The owners were more than helpful they were brilliant. At the time you could provide your own bar, where now i think it's their bar in the evening. I did all the food, and the flowers and table setting for my wedding with the help of some friends, and again the owners were brilliant. I stayed the night before the wedding and we had the most wonderful day. As I said in my title people are still talking about it now, and everyone says what a stunning venue. So if he asks me to renew our vows one day, I would most certainly go back to Maidens Barn. Sheri x

Having seen Maidens Barn website I didn't really have very high expectations but when I got there i realized the websites are out of date and didn't do the venue justice! The grounds are beautiful and they are now holidng ceremonies outside the barn! The gardens are small but still very pretty for all the photos! There is a nice sized marquee outside over some chairs and tables for the smokers and incase it rains, you can also have bbq outside in the evening.
Inside was absolutley beautiful with a stunning chandilier decoration hanging down over the dining area. The dance floor is huge and the bar is on the dance floor so there is no seperation and the men can't disappear to sit down all night! There is also a lovely upstairs area which looks down over the barn and leads to a small cosy room if you need a sit down! After one visit we choose Maidens Barn for our wedding as there is a local church close by which is what we wanted and also budget wise it really is a bargain! You can also supply your own alcohol for the meal and reception drinks and you can have a choice of caterers and dicuss prices with them!!
