We can’t recommend using Stockbridge Barn Farm highly enough.

We used it as the venue for our wedding reception which took the form of a sit down Champagne, afternoon tea for 180 and a hog roast and dancing into the evening. Everything went fantastically well, the barn is stunningly beautiful and really set the scene for the country wedding that we wanted. Stockbridge Barn offered us great flexibility as we could choose our own suppliers rather than being tied to the ones chosen by the venue, as was the case in many other places we looked at.

A really big reason to use the barn is the owner – wonderful Cherry who was always on hand to answer questions and seemed to be able to recommend several people as caterers, florists etc enabling us to find exactly the right people to suit our requirements ! Nothing was too much trouble for Cherry – I even asked her to sort out the weather – which she did to great effect!

Our wedding was absolutely brilliant; it really felt like the perfect day (lots of our guests said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to!) and a big part of this was due to having such a stunning venue. Cherry, your relaxed, efficient, friendly help made us feel like we were in safe hands right from the start. Thank you so much. We would be happy to recommend you and The Barn to anyone looking for a wedding venue with that little bit of magic.

Dear Cherry,

We would both like to thank you so much for all your help while we were organizing last Saturday’s wedding at the barn. Everyone thought it was a fantastic venue especially when enhanced by the effect of the up-lighters. Nothing seemed too much trouble for you and you did your utmost to accommodate all our requests – especially the sky lanterns!

You will be delighted to know that many of the guests declared it to be one of the best weddings that they had been to.

We had such a wonderful wedding reception at Stockbridge Farm Barn, and we highly recommend it to anyone planning their special day, or any other kind of celebration. The barn has a magical quality to it, and it was just the right size to provide space and grandeur, but with a really comfortable and personal feeling.

Because we wanted both our wedding and reception in the barn, we married officially at the registrar the day before, and then had our personalised ceremony in the barn, surrounded by all our friends and family, before champagne toasts, dinner and dancing.

Cherry was so kind and helpful throughout the process, and her advice was spot-on. Her suggestions regarding caterers and other suppliers were invaluable, and meant we could relax and trust the experts because they were familiar with the barn and knew exactly what they were doing.

We are so glad that we had our wedding at Stockbridge Farm Barn, all our guests loved its beauty and style, and that made our happy day all the more memorable.
