We had our civil ceremony at Hartland Abbey at the end May 2011. The Abbey, Drawing Room and grounds are a beautiful and made it the perfect venue for us. We were both so glad we chose it for our special day. Sue the wedding co-ordinator helped ensure all questions were answered and that the day ran smoothly. Highly recommended.
We had our civil ceremony at Hartland Abbey in May this year. It was a small ceremony with twenty guests and felt very intimate and relaxed. We had planned to have drinks in the walled garden but the weather spoilt our plans where that was concerned! The Drawing Room provided the perfect setting for the ceremony, and didnt feel too big despite our small number of guests. Sue was extremely helpful in organising the day, and kindly let us make use of the gardens the next day for some informal photos. A beautiful and private setting for a wedding, we would highly recommend it to anyone.
