We were married at Burton Court in July 2005 (civil ceremony) and enjoyed the ease of completing the ceremony and then immediately being able to join our guests for the reception in the fine grounds. If you are looking for a personal family run recepeion venue for around 100 guests or under in a house and grounds of great charm and historical character, then look no further.

We held our wedding reception at Burton Court in June 2008. It was a perfect day - in an absolutely beautiful house and gardens. Ed, the owner was wonderful, ensuring that we got the relaxed, fun day that we wished for, nothing was too much trouble for him. Our reception was a small party of 50 with over 10 of those being young children of varying ages. Our wedding reception was held in the Regency Room, a lovely intimate room , perfect for our party. The impressive Main Hall provided more than enough room for the extra evening guests attending.
We were blessed with a wonderful, sunny day and spent the afternoon in the extensive gardens where the children played safely and happily all afternoon and the adults even managed a game of rounders. A perfect place for your special day.

Our daughter was married at Burton Court on 4th Oct 2008, and the day was perfect from beginning to end. The venue, for our sole use, was magical, and suited her medieval theme so well. The attention to detail by the owner, and MC on the day, Edward, was second to none, and all requests were fulfilled...nothing was too much trouble. From the moment we arrived we felt at home, and very welcome. The Regency room, with its floor length windows, and old tapestry was so perfect and intimate for the ceremony. The Great Hall was just magical set out as a banqueting hall, with its massive fireplace, where a fire was lit later in evening. The food was superb, and compliments were flying all day from all the guests who traveled from the UK and a huge contingent from Ireland, who happily danced the night away to a mixture of Irish music and modern! The grounds of the Court are wonderful, and we had the photographs outside, along with an excellent falconry display. In all,a perfect wedding day,in no small measure due to the excellent venue and it's very congenial host. I would have no hesitation in recommending Burton Court for any special occasion, be it a wedding or any other celebration.

Set in some of the most stunning Herefordshire countryside, Burton Court which is Grade 2* with its Great Hall was the perfect setting for my second wedding.
This happened to be in the winter when you couldn't take advantage of the panoramic view and wonderful setting, but the fireplace, roaring with logs in the Great Hall, and the banquet that was prepared by the staff together with the flow of champagne made it a wonderful event, enjoyed by everyone and even my cousin from Ireland led a sing song on the grand piano in the wonderful Reception Hall. Great venue, even in winter.

We got married at Burton Court in August, and couldn't have asked for better service; the venue is full of interesting history as well as being very appealing, and the Events Organiser and staff were hard-working and friendly. We had a few unusual requests, but nothing was too much trouble for them, and everyone in our party said they'd had a terrific time, and the food was singled out for particular praise. All in all, it was a terrific day, and a lot of that is due to the hard work put in by everyone at Burton Court. I'd have no hesitation in recommending it as a venue - for a wedding or any other event - and I'd certainly book it again. Highly recommended!
