We held our wedding reception here on 06/06/09 in the marquee. I was in a panic most of the time with all the arrangments and was constantly calling Gail, the manager, to double check everything. She was more than patient with me and I was a real flap artist haha. When the day came it all was better than I could ever have dreamed. I bought all the decorations and Gail, Gemma and others had decorated the marquee beautifully. The food? Wow! Wedding breakfast food doesn't normally have such a good reputaion does it but here it was 1000% fantastic. Yes I did mean to type 1000%. It was so delicious, steaming hot, plentiful and served to perfection by the very professional service team who treated us like royalty. Everyone commented on the incredible food. On our wedding day Gail and the staff just took complete control and we did not have to worry about anything. We truly felt like film stars. For anyone thinking of holding your reception here I would highly recommend it and would say that if you are looking for an affordable wedding breakfast with amazing food, amazing service, friendly, approachable and warm staff and an unforgettable day and evening then choose here. I'll never forget what Gail and the staff did for us and it just made our special wedding day extra special. At the end of the evening when people were leaving, they all said the same. "Out of all the weddings I have been to that was the best. It was fantastic". Thank you all at the Carriage House Hotel so much xxx
