We were married on the 9th September 09 at the racecourse.
It was a beautifully sunny day and the venue was just amazing. We had our ceremony, all our photos and our reception there and it was all just fabulous. The staff were more than helpful and they made sure that everthing was the way we wanted it. The meal was excellent every one of our guests were impressed. The grounds provided beautiful photos and we had an absolutely fabulous day. I would recommend Hamilton Racecourse highly if you're planning a wedding.
Hamilton Racecourse is definately the place we will be having our wedding, It is a grand venue and has an American look to it. It is easily accessable and we will be having our ceremony, photos and reception here. You can get married outside or in a marquee and the photo opportunities are fabulous. The price is on par with most venues and hotels in the glasgow area however it is in a league of its own. The wedding planning staff have been very helpful so far. The only downside is that your date cannot be confirmed until the fixtures are set which can be as close as 6-9 months before your date. We have been assured however that there is a minimal chance of our date changing as the fixtures rarely change year on year. we visited on a sunny day (may have clouded our view)and we were blown away, it is exactly what we were looking for.
