We got married at Chewton Place on Tuesday 10th April 2012. The venue has recently been taken over and is now under new management. We cannot praise the staff enough. Whenever I called with any queries, Vicky & Rebecca, who must be extremely busy setting up the new business and dealing with all the former Aspire customers (in our case) and new clients, but they always knew exactly who I was and were ready with a reassuring answer to my questions. They are very experienced at running weddings and it is very apparent that they know exactly what they are doing. Rebecca and Terry were very attentive throughout the day and were always ready for any problems that arose (a pin for my father's buttonhole, a safety pin for guest’s trousers) and everything was dealt with in a calm and professional manner. The grounds and house are stunning. Our room was fantastic. The food is superb, the staff are all friendly and helpful. I am delighted that we chose to stay with Chewton Place as our wedding venue; it was the best day of our lives.

We are absolutely delighted that we chose ‘Chewton Place’ for our daughter’s wedding on the 25th March 2012.
From the initial planning stage, through to the actual event, Rebecca and her team provided first class service and support. Extremely prompt attention was given to all our queries whenever contacted.
The venue was very clean and beautifully decorated on the wedding day.
All the food provided was of a high standard, freshly prepared and was delivered to all the tables in a highly efficient and timely manner. Vegetarian and gluten intolerant diners were provided with excellent home cooked alternative meals.
All our guests appreciated the exclusive use of such a beautiful house.
Attention to detail appears paramount and everyone was made to feel so welcome.
We cannot recommend this venue highly enough.

Our Wedding was the best day of our lives filled with lots of happy memories at Chewton Place. All staff were outstanding and always working and could not do enough for us. We feel lucky to have been able to have our reception at Chewton Place. With BIG thanks to you all - expecially Rebecca. Harriet & Paul xx

How can we begin to say thank you for making our wedding day so special - we had a fabulous time....THANK YOU!
We realise that it must have taken a great deal of prior presperation in order for the day to run so smoothly and the little touches on the day to make it special really didnt go unnoticed! All the staff worked so hard in the background and were really helpful and friendly to all our guests - no problem was too big. Oh and the food was great - Compliments to the Chef(S). Alot of our guests said that it was the best wedding they had been to.....and we had to agree!!

It was a perfect day and we would like to express our gratitude to you all for making it so special. Helen & Mark had a fantastic day and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. All of our guests also praised Chewton place as a beautiful venue, many saying it was one of the best weddings they had been to! All of this is thanks to you all who worked so efficiantly as a team. Vicky has been great all the way through with all the planning & help & advice. Rebecca was brilliant on the day and we knew we could depend on you to keep everything running so smoothly. thank you also to all the rest of the staff who looked after us so well for the whole weekend. From our initial appointment with Chewton place we were immediately impressed with Darren's professionalism who took time to explain everything, show us around and gave us confidence that the staff were all experienced and very well organised. This made all the difference so we took the decision to book our wedding day at this venue. We delt with Vicky who was great and very professional and we were sent an event sheet where we specified how we wanted the day to run right down to the last detail. In the lead up to the wedding we had a few appointments with Vicky and our Maitre'd to check how everything was going and we were helped every step of the way. Rebecca was our Maitre'd on the wedding day who was wonderful. The whole day was beautifully organised right down to the tiny little details which make all the difference. We didnt have to worry about a thing and were able to just enjoy the day knowing we were in such good hands. The food was superb and all the staff were friendly professional and hard working. We had a wonderful day and i had many comments from my guests who were also very impressed. I can honestly say we did not have one tiny complaint....and i would recommend you to anyone, all our things were kept for us the following day in one room so we could take our time to pack and organise. A BIG THANK YOU to you all for helping to make the day so special and memorable.

I just had to write to you on behalf of Mike & I to thank you and all the other staff of Chewton place for the beautiful reception which you arranged for Kate & Marcus' marridge. We were absolutley delighted and were very impressed with the way your staff carried out the whole thing. I shall never forget how stunning the room looked when you took us through to see it before the rest of our guests came in. The day at Chewton place was worth all the hard work and stress involved in planning a wedding properly. The meal was lovely abd we feel very proud of how the day ran, due to your care and attention. We felt we had someone we could rely on as you made us feel that nothing was too much trouble and every detail was dealt with in a reassuring calm way.
Once again thank you all for all the help and care you gave us. I wish we could do it all again it was so lovely.

We both want to thank you so much for all your help and support planning our wedding and on the day. We both loved our day so much and if it hadnt of been for such a beautiful venue & helpful staff then we dont think our day would of been as special as it was, so we both cant thank you enough. Everybody who came to our wedding has said lovely comments about Chewton place and the staff, so you should all be really proud of yourselves, thank you again for everything.
