Hengrave Hall is the most amazing wedding venue. From the very first moment we discovered Hengrave, we knew that no other wedding venue would compare. Although extremely grand, Hengrave Hall have worked hard to create an intimate atmosphere where people feel welcome and at home. The attention to detail displayed throughout, from flowers in the hallways to the decoration of the bedrooms, is outstanding and a sure testament to the venues success. Furthermore the professionalism of all the staff was exceptional, not only on the day but also the days before and after our wedding when we were setting up and preparing to leave. The gardens of Hengrave Hall are stunning and are an asset to the venue. They certainly make our wedding photos look stunning.
Hengrave Hall is by far the most stunning place to get married in the area. We live overseas and looked at a lot of places around East Anglia but the minute we saw Hengrave we knew it was the one. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and went off without a hitch. The organisation of the Hengrave team was faultless, both in the lead up (which was mostly over the internet for us) and on the day, and we really didn't have to worry about anything on the day itself.
The main building is spectacular and it really blows people away as they come up the drive and it comes into sight. The interiors perfectly balance the historical elements with a clean, open feel - although it is a historic location there is nothing "stuffy" about it. The kids' room was a major hit - for the kids and the parents. And our little nephew could bring his toy sword along because we were getting married in a "castle". Having a church on the grounds (and what a church!) is really unique and perfect if you want to have a civil ceremony and then a blessing, as we did.
Hengrave is a very special place and we, and our guests, had an amazing day.
