We got married at Hilltop August 2010 and had the most wonderful of days. The Gardner family are incredibly generous with their time and energy and do absolutely everything that they can to give their couples the day they really want, with minimum stress.
One of the nicest things about Hilltop is that eventhough the business is very much a family affair, from event planning, flowers, DJing, photography and venue hire, there is no pressure to use all of their services. Hilltop pride themselves on allowing the bride and groom as much freedom as possible. So, in essence there is a menu of services to choose from but the couple are at liberty to bring in their own people. This element of freedom is definately lacking at other venues and was the main reason we decided to go to Hilltop. The emphasis on 'our day' was wonderful.
Food was the main concern for my husband and I. Like us, our friends and family all enjoy and look forward to a good meal. Hilltop did not disappoint. The caterers that Hilltop recommend are a local Cheshire firm, 'Sue Le Bonne' and I can not praise them highly enough. A lot of my guests have fed back that the wedding breakfast was the nicest that they had ever had.
Martin and Clare Gardner are consummate professionals and in many ways exceed all expectations. Their hospitality and the kindness that they extended to our friends and family often went beyond the call of duty. But that's the thing about Hilltop, you feel like one of theirs, not just another couple on a weddding conveyor belt.
