My Service of Blessing & Wedding Recepti Reviewed by: Tarryn Louise Hollis| Rating: 5

I can with confidence highly recommend The Old Palace as a venue for a Wedding Reception and Service of Blessing. The venue itself is superb, decorated very tastefully in the Georgian style, no expense has been spared with the choice of wallpapers, silk fabrics and antique furniture. The function rooms are all different and you can choose which rooms to hire, making special events unique to every individual and function. My favourite rooms were The Library and Garden Room. The Garden is lovely for photographs, with great views of the building and city and at the far end is a wall which overlooks the most Northerly Vineyard in the world. The bedrooms are beautiful and all individually decorated and the bed is one of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept in. The en-suite was extremely clean and modern with brand new fixtures and fittings including power shower. The staff were all wonderful, most helpful and very pleasant indeed and in particular renewed thanks to Alex, Nikki and Reverend David McCormick. The catering was truly excellent, with a comprehensive menu and a superior wine list. I had such a wonderful wedding reception, a dream come true and I will definitely hire the venue again in the future. Best wishes to all at The Old Palace, Tarryn Louise Hollis.
