We had our wedding at Blackbrook House a few weeks ago now and I have to say it was the best day of our lives so far. This venue is so unlike any others. The best part about Blackbrook is that it is privately owned, Lavinia the lady who owns it is incredibly passionate about what she does and has standards that no one else in our opinion can come close to. Her team are efficient and friendly but what is so nice is that nothing is ever too much trouble for any of them. The food is outstanding, I would say probably the best in Derbyshire! When you start planning your wedding with Lavinia and her team you get to have as much imput as you want, you can choose your own individual menu and the advise they give on other areas is unbelievable. The best thing for us was that there are no packages which is so lovely because then it really is your day. If your looking for a special venue, want to work with people who know exactly what they are doing and are passionate about what they do and if you want to create a wedding that is individual to you then don't waste any more time looking, just go and see Blackbrook House and book it before you loose the chance of getting the date you want. Believe me it really is that good!
