The panoramic Craighouse Campus was originally built in 1894, and the function rooms at Craighouse reflect the Victorian grandeur of the age in which the building was built and boasts the wonderful Turmeau Grand Hall. The venue is ideal for a wedding setting with a magnificent oak panelled hall in Tudor Baronial style, which features canopied twin fireplaces, a barrel vaulted ceiling and a minstrel’s gallery. The Turmeau Grand Hall is ideal for large formal occasions, and Craighouse is complimented by other well appointed hospitality rooms, which offer additional options for greeting and catering space. The campus itself is set on a hillside and guests are frequently surprised by the spectacular views of Edinburgh which can be seen from the grounds and the main balcony leading from the Castle Room. The grounds are exemplary and offer a perfect setting for official photographs. The drive up to the main hall is long and grand, and would also be suitable for photographic opportunities, as would the dominating stair case that leads up to the Grand Hall Please note that Napier University operate a non smoking policy within our premises. Napier University is fully licensed to hold a civil ceremony.
