This superb venue is in a wonderful location, in the heart of Hardy Country, yet just off the A35. The house has been traditionally restored using authentic materials and colours and beautiful gardens surround the house with roses, herbaceous borders and mature trees. The venue owners are especially supportive and welcoming to help make you and your guests feel totally relaxed and at home. Several large rooms are available for wedding parties. The Entrance Hall, decorated in rich Victorian colours, is flooded with natural light from the huge skylight. In winter, open fires burn in the grate. The Dining Room has floor-length sash windows opening onto the gardens. Up to 84 guests can dine in the elegant drawing Room, a glorious room with gilt columns, chandeliers, marble fireplaces and mirrors or up to 108 using the Drawing Room and Dining Room. The venue can accommodate about 150 guests in the evening. The Library has a full-sized billiard table and bar.. a great place to relax after the formalities. Overnight accommodation is available in 7 superb rooms, all furnished to an exceptionally high standard with en-suite bathrooms.
