Built in 1728, Combe Bank is an elegant Palladian mansion house set in 27 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. It offers a versatile, excellently presented wedding venue, full of stylish, ornate charm.
There are a variety of large and small function rooms available for exclusive use all overlooking the magnificent grounds.
The décor in each of the rooms is un-spoilt and charming. The Adam Room with its high, decorative ceiling is licensed for Civil Wedding ceremonies.
The Chapel, previously the ballroom of the house, is outstanding and provides the perfect back drop for a Roman Catholic, Pentecostal, Baptist, Methodist or Non-Conformist wedding ceremony. Anglicans/Church of England may have a Civil Ceremony in the Adam Room and a Blessing in the Chape, which can be charming.
The grand sweeping staircase at the heart of the building provides an excellent focal point and indeed an “indoor” photographic opportunity.
The venue can cater for up to 140 guests, there are two main function rooms, the Dining Room seats 140 for a Wedding Breakfast and the Main Hall can accommodate 200 for an evening function, there is an outer lobby which can be used for pre-reception drinks and extensive, well manicured lawns, which lend themselves perfectly for marquee weddings and events.
Available to hire exclusively throughout the year, Combe Bank offers spacious and flexible indoor and outdoor facilities; so whatever the weather and time of year, all guests can be suitability accommodated and catered for; thus enabling you to use the venue to suit your wedding plans perfectly.
