The group of listed barns has been imaginatively and artistically restored and offers outstanding facilities. This stunning venue has been created in the grounds of a country estate, 10 minutes from the M25 and M11 at Epping. It is approached up a long drive, though parkland and farmland, which is immediately impressive and calming. It is hard to believe that this superb, country venue is at the end of the Central Line! The views towards London and over surrounding countryside are far-reaching but the calm atmosphere of this quality venue makes it feel miles from anywhere. The scale and setting of the barns is impressive. The Mill Barn, supported by four massive tree trunks, has floor to ceiling windows overlooking a courtyard that allow sunlight to flood in. The mezzanine floor and gallery give the venue a spacious added dimension. Up to 150 guests can be seated for dining in the Mill Barn. The open-sided Gather Barn forms a porte-cochere for the larger barn. The beautifully restored Orangery is available for Civil Ceremonies and receptions. The old Walled Garden has year-round colour with its herbaceous borders, old-fashioned roses, snowdrops, daffodils and shrubs.
