Longhouse Weddings - Civil Wedding venue and Exclusive Wedding Reception location in the heart of rural Somerset.
If you are looking for a stylish, contemporary and different country wedding venue for your very special day, The Longhouse at Mill on the Brue in Bruton, is the place. It can comfortably seat 130 guests and overlooks stunning views of the Brue valley.
Civil ceremonies are licensed to be held in The Longhouse up to 145 guest or for 55 guests or less in the vaulted wine cellar.
The Longhouse offers a unique, highly individual service. We only have a maximum of 20 weddings each year. Wedding couples are attracted to The Longhouse if they want a relaxed, less traditional all inclusive venue.
We have a transparent pricing policy including not having a corkage fee! The wedding couple are allowed to supply their own wine and champagne up until the end of the wedding breakfast. After this time we run a fully licensed bar at no extra cost. We recommend two catering companies.
