The Lord Bute Hotel's silver service, Double AA Rosette restaurant, traditional and modern styled bedrooms and our impeccable reputation for service; will make you believe you are in five star surroundings, until of course you settle your account. You can relax and enjoy your special day from breakfast parties to evening dinners offering a wide choice of dishes for all of your guests and featuring an extensive wine list from around the globe, or alternatively you can liase with us on how to create your own perfect menu. To compliment your perfect wedding venue, you can hold the ceremony at Highcliffe Castle - which is only two minutes walk away - and is unlike other Civil Ceremony venues as they specialise in the civil wedding ceremony and hold up to 3 ceremonies per day (1 only on Sundays). The marriage ceremony is held in the beautiful Wintergarden, and includes the use of the Wintergarden, Drawing Room and grounds for up to one and half-hours, as well as flowers provided in the room, use of the Castle piano and use of a reserved parking area. Relax further by allowing our function co-ordinator to take the stress off and directly manage the day on your behalf. The superb bridal suite provides very desirable honeymoon accommodation including all the modern amenities you would expect, with at sumptuous canopied bed and en-suite bathroom. Both Christchurch & Bournemouth offer fantastic days out with a mixture of international entertainment and regional history, as well as supporting a wide variety of shopping centres, Golfing facilities and sailing academies. Bournemouth also plays home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the south, and a Ferry to the Isle of Wight can also be found just down the coast near Lymington. If you are looking for something a little closer to the Hotel, Friars Cliff in Mudeford is only a five minute drive away where you can take the Ferry across to Hengistbury Head, famous as a site of archaeological and ecological importance and has since been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Christchurch also plays home to some lovely restaurants, picturesque nature trails, forest walks and bird sanctuaries.
