Venue description |
|
Norwood Park is often described as one of England’s finest examples of Georgian country house venues. It combines both Georgian architecture, attributed to John Carr of York, with over one hundred acres of deer parkland, adorned with ancient oaks and orchards born out of the original Bramley apple developed in Southwell in the 1840s.
Norwood Park was awarded its marriage license in 1998, but couples were married under the Ancient Oak in Saxon times, so marriage is part of the great history of Norwood. In present times, the Civil Marriage for up to 75 guests can be held in the elegant Drawing Room with its magnificent views across the parkland towards the lake. A Dedication of your marriage can be arranged, following the ceremony, weather permitting, in the South facing gardens for up to 180 guests. Norwood Park is an exclusive hire venue so you can relax with your guests and your guests only.
