Audley End House is one of England’s magnificent 17th century houses which retains much of its Jacobean splendour. The superb stately interiors sit within beautiful landscaped gardens and would provide a stunning backdrop for your special day. The House is licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies at 4.00pm on Saturdays in either the elegant Dining Parlour or magnificent Great Hall. The maximum capacity for a ceremony is 100. Reception dinners can also be held in the Great Hall for up to 90, however if you wish dancing as part of your reception, we advise that you would need to move your guests to a marquee in the stunning grounds as dancing is not possible within the Great Hall due to the fragile collection. Dinner dances or larger events can also be held in marquees in the grounds. Please bear in mind that out of consideration to our neighbours, amplified sound in marquees must cease by 11pm. In addition, it is advised that owing to the fragile nature of the exhibits and decorations of the House, it is not an appropriate place for large numbers of children under 10 years of age.
