Venue description |
|
The Assembly Rooms were built in 1771 and on completion they were described as 'the most noble and elegant of any in the Kingdom'. All three rooms are entered through the grand foyer, its red carpeted aisle making a fitting entrance for any bride. The Great Octagon, with its magnificent chandelier, is the most popular room in Bath for civil ceremonies, and can accommodate up to 120 guests.
The elegant Tea Room with its sandstone pillars and high ceilings is a warm and inviting venue for receptions of up to 130 guests.
The Ball Room has the largest Georgian interior in Bath, and can accommodate up to 500 guests in style. It is especially suitable for larger gatherings, or receptions with a difference such as a ceilidh.
