Welcome to The Shelleys, situated in Lewes, Sussex. The Shelleys combines the history and traditions of an original 16th century Sussex coaching Inn, with top standards of service and cuisine for the 21st century.
The Shelleys is a family-run hotel offering high standards and a unique ambiance to cater for your wedding and celebrations. As a family-run business we are able to break the mould, offering flexibility whilst maintaining affordability. The gardens and elegant public rooms provide a wonderful backdrop, complimented by good food and a warm welcome.
We assure you of a very personal service. Whatever thoughts you have regarding your celebration, we will work with you ensuring that your requirements are met, creating a memorable experience. For this reason, we will never have more than one Wedding or Civil Partnership on the same day.
We are able to hold larger weddings in a marquee in the garden. Where you are able to have your ceremony in our licensed Summer House.
We can accommodate up to 40 seated in our Drawing Room and 60 seated in our Dining Room. We can assist you should a marquee be required, which can accommodate up to 150 guests seated in the garden.
