The Fennes is a fine Georgian country house set in 100 acres of idyllic countryside, yet only an hour from London. The Manor House offers an elegant entrance hall and reception rooms, which lead on to our beautiful silk-lined pavilion and banqueting hall. These larger rooms are romantically lit with chandeliers and wall sconces and can be heated or air-conditioned depending on weather conditions. The Fennes is licensed for civil marriage ceremonies, however, should you be considering a church wedding, the parish church of St Mary's is just a mile away in Bocking Village. Our catering reputation is the envy of other establishments, however we know that some weddings require flexibility on this front which is why we are happy to open our venue to outside caterers if your wedding requires a more specialised menu, for religious or cultural reasons.
