Castello San Sebastiano is a delightful castle full of history and charm, situated in the hills close to the very attractive city of Turin and the vineyards of Asti and Barolo.
It is a perfect romantic location for your wedding.
The property dates back to the 10th century and was part of the estate of the famous Marchese di Monferrato. In the 1700s the Count of San Sebastiano commissioned a redesign and restoration of the antique, medieval building. The frescos were painted by Pietro Bagetti at the beginning of the 19th century.  The delightful gardens were designed by Xavier Kurten and in 1810 formed part of Turin University’s botanical studies.
The present owners of the Castello are the Garrone family who acquired the property in 1986 and since then they have carried out a sympathetic restoration.
There are a number of different reception rooms which are ideal for weddings varying in size to accommodate from 50 to 300 guests.
In addition there are 28 bedrooms and further accommodation available nearby.
The present owners reside on the premises and the enterprise is directed by Luca Garrone and his English wife, Louise.
In addition to using the reception rooms, the garden is ideal for an open air reception and adjoining the castle is a delightful church where the wedding ceremony can take place.
The owners of the castle can recommend a variety of catering organisations for you to consider and will help and advise you on which caterer might be best suited for your particular requirements.
They will also, help with arranging for music and all other matters to ensure that your wedding at the “Castello” will be an outstanding success.
The location is very convenient being only 45 minutes from Turin airport and centre of the lovely city of Turin.
