WeddingVenues.com would like to extend their congratulations to Mark Zuckerberg, Facebooks co-founder, and his longtime girlfriend Priscilla Chan, who announced their marriage through a status update on the social networking site that has brought the world together.
The couple tied the knot in a small ceremony at his Californian home where around 100 guests attended the surprise wedding.
Tens of thousands of people liked his status change, which was accompanied by a photo of the couple in their wedding finery. A company spokeswoman said Mr Zuckerberg designed the ring, which features a very simple ruby.
The couple met at Harvard, where Mr Zuckerberg co-founded Facebook in a university dormitory eight years ago.
