Make Hay While The Sun Shines
As the main structures of farms, many farmers built their barns before they built their houses. Today the rural barn presents an image of community spirit and many people look to old barns as links with their heritage.
Mostly timber framed, barns have a natural sense of history etched in their aged wood and warm country palettes and have always evoked a sense of tradition and security, of closeness to the land and community making them a lovely setting for any modern day wedding.
Many old barns stretching across our glorious country landscape have been sympathetically restored to fit in with our modern day expectations of a wedding venue, offering a link to past with present, a place to gather with friends and family, to join together and celebrate in our great British history and tradition.
