Glass house Wedding Venue
The Glasshouse at Combermere Abbey is one of the most magical wedding venues in the North. The spectacular fan-shaped nineteenth century glasshouse has 180 degree views of the world’s only fruit tree maze and the walled gardens beyond.

As well as the romantic allure of The Glasshouse itself, there’s an enchanting atmosphere which pervades this ancient 1000 acre private estate. As soon as you enter the gateway and mile long approach, you know you are somewhere special. A sense of tranquility and peacefulness pervades, so rare to come by in today’s world. What’s more, you will be assured of exclusive use for the day of your wedding, allowing you and your guests to enjoy the splendour of these wonderful surroundings as though they were your own.

Up to 120 guests can be accommodated for a ceremony and up to 150 using an adjacent marquee, and accommodation for guests is available in classically designed cottages situated in the renovated stable yard of the estate. Bridal couples enjoy their own private hideaway in ‘Stone Lodge’, the estate’s former gatehouse.
