A special welcome to South Farm in Hertfordshire, just fifty miles outside of London and set in wonderful countryside with extensive landscaped gardens, and it’s own Summer House licensed for ceremonies. They also offer a wonderful menu using seasonal ingredients grown within the grounds of the farm, and for the ultimate in romance, there are Romany caravans, camping, or you can glamp it in the luxury of the house itself.
Stapleford Park Country House Hotel and Estate in Leicestershire joins us in a very sporting fashion offering weddings the benefit not only of this pretty 17th century house with gardens designed by Capability Brown and individually designed interiors, but also a championship golf course, plenty of country pursuits including archery and shooting, and the sweetly named duck herding for little guests. Very cute.
Historic Sudeley Castle in the Cotswolds also brings us romance in abundance. One can only guess at the amount of love that has flowered within these scented gardens and ancient walls. You can marry in the castle’s chapel and dine in the medieval banqueting hall for a very merry wedding in one of the most romantic castle’s in the country.
