Perhaps you or your intended are keen golfers and belong to a local club, if so why not consider the clubhouse as the location for your wedding breakfast. Some golf clubs are licensed to hold weddings at the ‘19th hole.’ Many clubs have excellent catering facilities and can cope with large parties of people for dining in very pleasant surroundings. As well as close family and friends you could also invite fellow players along to join the party after the reception dining is completed. Many golf clubs in the UK have really impressive clubhouses in which they hold all kinds of social functions. The club steward will be expert in catering for large numbers and will be backed up by experienced staff. Even if you are not a golfer but you have a golf club in your area it may well be worthwhile making enquiries to see if they are licensed for weddings and can provide the service that you require.
