The Cotswolds cover are a popular tourist destination, both for international visitors and British holidaymakers. The Cotswolds are famous for their gentle rolling countryside, dry-stone walls and the quaint ‘English’ villages built from the honey-coloured Cotswold stone. Within its boundaries lie famous towns such as Bath and Cheltenham as well as sleepy little villages such as Burford.
The range of wedding/civil ceremony/reception venues in the Cotswolds is particularly large, so whether you want a small, intimate wedding party or a large wedding there is no shortage of suitable locations. Several grand and stately castles and palaces can be hired for large weddings, whilst for the more modest wedding party there are plenty of smaller hotels and inns. Choose from Grade 2 listed buildings or modern function centres, luxury hotels or Cotswold cottages. There are also golf clubs, priories and universities that can be hired for special events.
