Exmoor wedding venues
Exmoor National Park is located in the South West of England on the Bristol Channel coast. The park lies in two counties, Devon and Somerset. The area comprises hilly moorland, scenic coastal areas and a number of hamlets and small villages. The Exmoor coast has been recognised as a Heritage Coast due to its fantastic scenery, which includes rocky headlands, waterfalls, ravines and towering cliffs. Exmoor is home to over 208 ancient monuments and there are many attractions associated with its villages such as the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway and the ancient clapper bridge at Tar Steps.
There are a number of locations available for weddings near Exmoor and these include country houses, a castle set in a medieval village, a university, luxury lodges and cottages and historic inns and hotels, some of which date back to the 15th century.
