North Yorkshire Moors wedding venues
The North Yorkshire Moors are one of the largest expanses of heather moorland in the United Kingdom, as well as being a national park in the county of North Yorkshire. A popular area with visitors from all over the United Kingdom, the moors are home to a number of quiet villages, such as Kilburn and Grosmont. There are also a number of larger towns, such as the port of Whitby and the charming Helmsley. The moors are only a few minutes drive from central Middlesbrough and Scarborough.
Bars, restaurants and clubs dominate the historic town centre of both Middlesbrough and the seaside resort of Scarborough. Places to get married, whether it is a traditional wedding or a civil ceremony, abound throughout the moors, both indoors and out. There are a number of romantic and or unusual locations scattered throughout the historic areas of every population centre, including churches, chapels and beautiful homes.
