Northumberland National Park wedding venues
The Northumberland National Park is England’s northernmost national park. Hadrian’s Wall, which crosses through the park, along with the wall, there are a number of archaeological wonders and unusual natural sites for visitors to see.
While there are few towns or villages to speak of those that are there, such as Harbottle and Holystone, are picturesque villages with years of history contained within their curved lanes and quaint cottages. And, the Northumberland National Park has many places for visitors to stay during their explorations, including castles, campsites and cottages. Tranquillity and gorgeous views are the watchwords for the accommodation, with any number of isolated, romantic locations perfect for an intimate gathering or special event, including many places ideal for getting married.
The Northumberland National Park offers the perfect place for a formal wedding or civil ceremony in a traditional setting, or something more unusual, such as a ceremony on Hadrian’s Wall, or in any one of the area’s several castles.
