Peak District wedding venues
The Peak District lies in central England, and is comprised mostly of the region known as the Peak District National Park, the earliest national park in the British Isles. It is thought to be the second most popular national park in the world, and its close proximity to the major urban centres of Manchester and Sheffield, as well as its easy access by road or rail, has contributed to this popularity among visitors.
There are any number of sights to see and things to do in the Peak District. The town of Buxton in the Peak District is a spa-town, with any number of activities for visitors to indulge in. Matlock Bath, Bakewell and the other towns of the district offer any number of locations for parties, receptions and other events, including many places to get married.
