Venues:
World famous
Some licensed civil wedding venues go beyond unusual or popular to stand as world famous. The wedding venues in this list barely need an introduction. Whether you are getting married in a building of great historical significance or holding the wedding in a newer venue, these civil venues all have their own very individual style.
These exclusive wedding venues include places that are on every tourist's must-see list, world-renowned sporting sites and some that almost defy description. Truly the stuff of which dream weddings are made.

Pump Room & Roman Baths
The Pump Room is a fine example of the Georgian splendour of Bath but it can offer an experience dipping even further back into history. Your wedding
could include drinks by the stunning torch-lit Roman Baths. The Baths are nearly 2,000 years old and fed by Britain's only naturally hot spring. The Romans dedicated the spring to the goddess, Sulis Minerva, but it could be you receiving divine treatment on your wedding day with a champagne reception around the baths before going up in to the Pump Room for dinner. Also managed by Bath & NE Somerset Council, the Assembly Rooms and Guildhall are also available to hire for weddings and can be found by searching 'Somerset'.
