Quex Park “…a truly unique wedding venue”
Situated within the historical Quex Park, our wedding venue offers a combination of fascinating and dramatic elements which are as unique as they are special.
Set within 250 acres of gardens and wooded parkland, Quex House is an elegant wedding venue offering beautiful surroundings and an ambience that is exclusive only to historical country estates.
Quex Park offers limitless flexibility in how you choose to stage your wedding, ensuring that you and your wedding guests will remember your special day forever. We are proud to offer Civil Ceremonies either in the historical Quex House with a magnificent carved staircase, oak panelling and antique furniture or under our Victorian style gazebo within our beautifully landscaped 15 acre gardens of informal wooded parkland, herbaceous borders and generous lawns.
The photographic opportunities at Quex Park provide a selection of unique backdrops which are both fascinating and dramatic.
We are also delighted to be able to offer the bride the use of an exclusive dressing room within Quex House, as well as a peal of twelve bells ringing from our own Waterloo Tower, built in 1819.
Whether arriving by beautiful vintage vehicle, horse drawn carriage or helicopter, Quex Park is exceptionally well placed to host your memorable day with easy access for you and your guests.
Quex Park is situated on the southern boundary of Birchington, a coastal village west of Margate in Kent, about 75 miles from London, 12 miles from the historic city of Canterbury and 4 miles from the ferry port of Ramsgate.
We are easily accessible from major A roads and situated within 1 ½ hrs from Gatwick and 2 hours from London Heathrow or Stansted Airport. Our entrance is situated just 2 miles from the A299 Dual Carriageway and benefits from having ample free visitor parking.
Quex Park is also unique in that it offers helicopter landing facilities just a short walk away .
“Words will never describe how beautiful the House looked on the day. I was truly overwhelmed and to have you on hand throughout the day was so lovely. Thank you again for helping my wedding dreams come true , I will miss you!”
