Venue type:
Guildhall Description: Built in 1775 by Thomas Baldwin, the magnificent Guildhall is ornately furnished and fitted.
The splendid Banqueting Room, approached by a grand oak staircase, is gloriously decorated with royal paintings and hung with crystal chandeliers, and makes an excellent wedding reception venue for up to 180 people.
You also have the choice of two civil wedding venues, the Aix-en-Provence Room and the Brunswick Room: both of which also lend themselves to pre-dinner drinks receptions.
The Victoria Art Gallery also makes an inspiring choice for a drinks reception prior to a wedding breakfast in the Banqueting Room.
