Description: In the countryside just a few miles south of Oxford stands Ardington House.
Surrounded by well-kept lawns, terraced gardens, peaceful paddocks and parkland, this Baroque house was built in 1720.
The main rooms of the House are adorned with many paintings and furniture from several periods. Poet Laureate Sir John Betjeman wrote of the homeliness and warmth of Ardington House, and the rooms have seen many special occasions and important visitors in the past.
