Description: Sixteenth Century Stately Home still lived in by the original Family. Situated just north of Ashbourne in the heart of the Peak District.
Since being granted a civil licence by Derbyshire County Council in February 2003, many couples have used Tissington Hall for their marriage ceremony. Tissington Hall can provide everything you need for a perfect day in unforgettable surroundings, from the ceremony in the eighteenth century stone-flagged hall to a champagne reception, either in one of the two drawing rooms in the seventeenth century wing or in the beautiful and extensive gardens to the west of the Hall.
We would be delighted to cater for your wedding breakfast for up to 20 guests in our private dining room or for up to 60 guests in our Main Hall. For larger receptions, a marquee can be erected in our gardens.

Additional details: We are able to host a toasting reception immediately after the wedding, featuring Champagne, and excellent Cremant or traditional Pimms, to include canapes. You can choose from a variety of settings for this part of your day.

For your Wedding Breakfast we can cater from the smaller, intimate wedding for up to 20 guests in our Private Dining Room, up to 60 guests in the Main Hall or in a marquee in the gardens for larger weddings.
