Weddings at Polhawn Fort are spectacular, unique, and always quite unforgettable. The fort is provided in a different way from hotels and other venues, so that you can have a truly wonderful day arranged just the way you - yourselves - want it.

*Get Married in a Fort*

We have always held wedding receptions here, but now you can get married here too! (under our Civil Marriage Licence) and keep it all under the same roof.

*House-party atmosphere*

You have the whole place to yourselves, your family and your guests. It is a unique arrangement that brings your family and friends together in a more intimate and informal atmosphere.

*A wedding banquet just how - and when - you want it *

We give you the flexibility to make catering arrangements just as you choose for up to 100 guests (up to 125 by special arrangement). We can provide you with excellent and flexible caterers who can suggest menus, or quote you for one you have chosen for yourselves - and a wide range of arrangements - from informal buffets to seated dinners with silver service waiting. (You can even provide your own catering)

*Eat, Drink and be Merry*

Although we have a full hotel licence (and can run a pay bar for you if you wish), we allow you to supply all your own drinks for your guests _ a tremendous saving! We even supply a large wine chilling cabinet.
