Additional details:
Wedding ceremonies can be held in the paneled Brown Parlour or the larger Great Hall.
The key question to decide is the number of guests because the answer will determine the ideal format for the reception. Quenby is ideally suited to everything from the intimacy of a very small private wedding for 10, a country-style barn-dance for 100, to a grand ball for 500.
If you have up to 80 guests we can accommodate everyone within the house for the civil ceremony, reception, and sit down wedding breakfast. If required dancing is in a marquee on the back lawn or in the Old Dairy.
If you have up to 150 guests you can accommodate everyone in the ballroom for a drinks reception.
Up to 500 can be accommodated in a marquee on the back lawn. All dancing takes place in the marquee.
Alternatively the Old Dairy can accommodate 80 seated and dancing is permitted.
