The largest of the 16th century Tudor castles built to defend the Kent coastline; the castle is located in the heart of Deal and offers superb panoramic views of the shoreline. Built by Henry VIII, Deal's Castle's setting and long maritime tradition combine to offer a dramatic venue for a host of exclusive events, including memorable wedding ceremonies, receptions and celebrations. Whatever the occasion, every guest will be inspired by the sights and sounds of the seashore as they sip drinks on the castle terrace overlooking the sea.

Couples can be King and Queen of their own castle if they choose to marry at Deal. After a civil wedding ceremony in the Officer's Mess, the whole castle can be taken over for drinks, dining and dancing to celebrate the occasion. Smaller events sit equally well within the walls of this historic castle, with the ground floor rooms perfect for medieval banquets.
