Historic Building Description: The RSA is a popular wedding venue and offers a unique and intimate setting for your special day. Whether you seek the inspiring grandeur of the Great Room or the intimacy of a candlelit ceremony in the Vaults we will endeavour to make your day memorable.
Located close to Trafalgar Square, the Georgian facade of the RSA's historic house conceals many unexpected delights of traditional and contemporary architecture. Marriage by candlelight is one possibility in the sub-terranean Vaults where bare brick walls offer a blank canvas for your imagination. This space also provides an unusual setting for buffet meals, receptions or seated dining. The 18th Century grandeur of the house can form a backdrop for both larger and more intimate celebrations. Flooded with natural daylight highlighting the marble fireplaces, crystal chandeliers and spectacular paintings. The Great room can seat upto 200 for a ceremony and the grandure of the Benjamin Franklin Room offers an ideal setting for a wedding breakfast or ceremony. The intimacy of three original dining rooms, (Tavern, Romney and Adelphi Rooms) each featuring original Adam ceilings and fireplaces, enable even the smallest ceremony to enjoy an elegant setting.
