Locked away in the serenity of the Sussex countryside Wadhurst Castle provides the ideal location for your romantic wedding day.

You have exclusive use of the Castle and grounds with their extensive views over the Sussex Downs. The Castle is yours for the day.

A Marquee may be sited on the South Lawn for larger events. Using the combined facilities of the Castle and a marquee would enable you to expand your guest list to 200.

Listings of preferred suplliers for catering, marquee hire, florists etc will be provided along with a comprehensive listing of local accommodation.

We know that planning a wedding can be daunting however, we can offer friendly and informal advice to help you. We listen carefully to our clients' wishes.

Additional details:
Our splendid Drawing Room is now available during the summer months. This beautiful room can seat up to 100 for a ceremony and 70 for a fully seated reception.

Directions by public transport:
Wadhurst Station is on a Main Line route from London Charing Cross, Waterloo East and London Bridge - journey time approx. 1 hour. The nearest airport is London Gatwick.

Directions by car:
Accessible from the A2 out of London, the M25 (exit Jnc. 5) on to the A21 to Lamberhurst and then the B2100 to Wadhurst.
