Upwaltham Barns, set in the heart of the South Downs, have been traditionally restored to the highest standard. The South Barn can seat 170 guests for dining where new lighting and underfloor heating systems appropriate for the character of the building have been installed. The East Barn is a dramatic setting for a Civil Wedding or seats up to 100 for dining. The huge glass doors, allow superb views over the Downs, and the limestone floor is light and stylish. The courtyard and pretty gardens, with old fashioned roses are perfect for reception drinks. A charming, beamed Cottage for overnight accommodation has been restored for the bride and groom. Traditionally furnished in country style, with a hint of Parisian chic, this features a romantic yet modern bathroom with roll-top bath, a sitting room, and a bedroom with small Juliet balcony. Perfect for tossing your bouquet! Opposite the barns, is the most exquisite, medieval Church where it may be possible to have a Service of Blessing.
