Stockbridge Farm Barn is situated four miles south of Sherborne, with its historic abbey. It is set in the glorious Dorset countryside famous for
Thomas Hardy, on a small working farm. The Barn exudes atmosphere and has changed very little from its original state hundreds of years ago. Stockbridge also has a lined, floored and lit marquee which can be hired for larger functions.

This is what Fiona Morris wrote in March 2007 "I urge anyone who does not want a typical hotel or marquee wedding reception to seriously consider Stockbridge Farm Barn. We held our wedding reception at the barn in March and were absolutely overwhelmed with how beautiful the barn looked when lit up at night, and how smoothly the event ran Our guests were similarly impressed and three couples have already lined up the barn for their own daughters' weddings."
