Directions by public transport: Ashington Bus Station is approximately a 15 minute walk from Woodhorn. The nearest mainline railway station is at Morpeth, and the airport is located at Newcastle.
Directions by car: Woodhorn is less than half an hour from Newcastle on the A189 east of Ashington. Look out for the brown and white signs to Woodhorn. (Take care with SatNav as it will lead you astray - watch for the signs instead.)
