Abbey / Priory Description: Leiston Abbey is a beautiful historic site dating from 1363, set in the Suffolk countryside on the heritage coast. The beautiful medieval Guesten Hall provides a very special setting for your civil wedding/partnership ceremony, with picturesque views over the surrounding countryside. After the ceremony, the wedding party can enjoy a champagne reception on the south-facing terrace with its pretty plants and flowers. For an evening reception, guests can proceed to the thatched Barn, with its impressive raftered ceiling and the stunning effect created by candelabra decorated with ivy and flowers.
