Clonter Opera Theatre incorporates many theatrical features in its five large reception rooms creating a unique and dramatic atmosphere. This privately owned theatre can offer tailor made weddings to suit all budgets. Weddings can be held on stage, with the current operatic set or in any of the five reception rooms. Photographs can be taken in the gardens while guests sip champagne on the terrace.

Music should finish at 11.00 pm, guests depart by 11.30 pm. At the discretion of the owners it may be possible to extend the time until 12.30 am for an additional fee. No smoking is permitted inside the complex.

Directions by car: TRAVELLING SOUTH ON THE M6 Exit junction 18 to Holmes Chapel on the A54. Straight over mini roundabouts, follow sign to Macclesfield on the A535. After 1.5 miles notice Yellow Broom restaurant on the right. Continue past Terra Nova School on the right. Bear right down Farm Lane to Lower Withington on B5392.

Turn next right at village green (signed Swettenham and Somerford). At T-junction (opposite Red Lion) turn right into Trap Street. Next left (signed Somerford and Congleton). Past Black Swan on the right, over minor crossroads, we are on the left.

FROM MANCHESTER ON THE A34 After Capesthorne Hall on right, and a turning for Henbury on left, turn right on the B5392 signed Holmes Chapel. After 2.5 miles turn left, signed Swettenham and Somerford. Clonter Opera Theatre is a mile along this road, after the Black Swan on the right, over minor crossroads, we are on the left.

TRAVELLING NORTH ON THE M6 Exit junction 17 towards Congleton on the A534. At SECOND roundabout turn left towards Macclesfield. Go over lights and take third left signed Hulme Walfield (Giantswood Lane). Clonter Opera is 4 miles along this road on the right hand side.
