Country House Description: Yew Lodge is the perfect venue for your wedding celebration, whatever the season. There are many photographic opportunities both in the 10 acre gardens and in the main house with its original oak panelling and silk screens.
Special Wedding Offer until 31st of January: Book your wedding before the 31st of January and the venue hire is half price! Peak days at £1750 and off peak £1.250
Our bespoke Sycamore Wedding Suite offers a high quality, contemporary setting, comfortably accommodating 120 seated guests (maximum 150). The suite is made up of a reception area, adjoining bar, and main dining room with direct access to the patio and gardens. For smaller weddings we can seat up to 50 guests for the wedding breakfast in the Oak Room in the Main House.
One of the great benefits of coming to Yew Lodge is that you automatically have "exclusive use" and your wedding will be the only one taking place during the day so you and your guests can enjoy complete privacy and can truly relax. It is an intimate venue and many people have commented favourably on the warm "house party" atmosphere as opposed to being in a more formal, corporate setting.
As well as hosting your reception, we are licenced to conduct civil ceremonies and partnerships.
For informal dining and evening receptions we can cater for up to 200 guests.
We also have 14 en-suite bedrooms, including the sumptuous bridal suite with double size bath! Plus private parking for 100+ cars.

Directions by public transport: East Grinstead Railway Station (2 miles) provides regular, direct services to London Victoria and London Bridge via East Croydon (both 50 minutes). East Croydon and London Bridge provide connections to Thameslink which has direct services to North London, Luton Airport and Bedford.
Taxis are readily available from East Grinstead railway station (10 minutes journey time) or Gatwick Airport (25 minutes journey time).
Gatwick Airport is 20 minutes by taxi.
The Channel Tunnel is one hour by car/taxi.
Directions by car: Yew Lodge is located on the borders of West Sussex, Surrey and Kent and is within easy reach of the M25, M23, and M26/M20 motorways. Gatwick Airport is 20 minutes by taxi. Croydon/South London is less than an hour away.
